“Yobel – The 7th Shemitah!”

Listen to this sermon

The Year of Rest: Advancing the Kingdom!
Yobel – The 7th Shemitah!

Lev 25:8 And you shall number seven sabbaths or weeks of years for you, seven times seven years, so the total time of the seven weeks of years shall be forty-nine years.
Lev 25:9 Then you shall sound abroad the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement blow the trumpet in all your land.
Lev 25:10a And you shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you;

Lev 25:18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. 19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety
Lev 25:20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
21 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

As we focus on this series of prophetic sermons on Shemitah and the End Time Prophecies, we are simply enthralled by the fact that God’s principles are operational not only for the Israelites but also amazingly relevant to us in the 21st century impacting the rise and fall of nations as well as their economic fortunes.

The promise of God that He will command a blessing on the land just before the Shemitah and Yobel such that it will yield enough for 3 years is amazing! Imagine you are a business person observing this principle and God blessing you with three times the turnover in one year, wouldn’t that be awesome?

Why would God want to do that? He wants us to observe His statutes, to rest and to trust Him! He is our Jehovah Jireh, our mighty provider. He wants us to realize He is the God of the impossible and when we trust Him, He will show Himself to be faithful to His word.

Begin to believe God for 3X in 2015 as we enter His Yobel – the Jubilee of our lives. Amen.
