The Year of Rest: Advancing the Kingdom!
Persevering Faith; Promises Fulfilled!

Psalm 105:19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him
1 Cor 16:8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. 9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed
Matt 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible
Jer 32:26 Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying, 27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

2015 will be a year where the promises of God to you will be fulfilled provided…Our salvation is paid for fully by the death and sacrifice of our Lord but to trigger it, we need to confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts!

What must we do to trigger the promises of God in our lives? The revelation in Psalm 105:19 is very interesting. The prophetic word of God is like a double edged sword. It cuts through the limitations that we have but it also cuts us by trying us. We literally go through a time of testing and trials where God can begin to cut away those things that will hinder us from our destiny.

So both things are happening – internal and external. While we are facing external pressure and going through risky situations where we have to develop courage to stand and overcome the obstacles, we also begin to let the Holy Spirit crucify us from within(Gal 2:20). Why is this so?

God’s purpose is not just for us to go through the trials victoriously, He desires for us to be changed in the process that we might possess fully the inheritance He has ordained for us. Without a Godly character shaped through the fire of God, we cannot retain what God is giving to us.

May I exhort you to rise up and stand against all the works of the enemy, becoming more like Him in the process and trigger all the promises God had intended for you which are not fulfilled till now. Amen.
