Mind – Gate of Transformation!

Rome 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Rome 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God!
Rome 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rome 8:3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Rome 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Rome 8:38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Just one week ago, the Lord spoke to me that 2016 will be the Year of Transformation. I was seeking the Lord about this and this came suddenly to me – a flash and it was very clear! The world sometimes is prophetic without even knowing it and in this case, it was a pleasant surprise when I realized that International Data Corporation better known as IDC, the leading corporation in the world of IT, systems and technology declared that in 2016, it will a year where we ‘Transform or Die”. This is so amazing because these were my thoughts for the church of Jesus Christ in this very important time of the Third Reformation!

We simply cannot be effective in the future using outdated paradigms of yesterday which were proven useful in the past but will now hamper our moving forward. Jesus said it so aptly when He said no one pours new wine into old wineskins! We either have to have new wineskins or go through a process of renewing the old ones in order for us to contain the new wine of revelation, joy and glory.

How can we be transformed to be ready for the New? It begins with our minds! Today, we will focus on the Mind – Gate of Transformation and next week on Glory – Substance of Transformation! Have a joyous and destiny-focused New Year!
