Do you where the Wind is Blowing?

1 Corinthians 2:10-11 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

John 3:1 Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (member of the Sanhedrin) among the Jews, 2 who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi (Teacher), we know [without any doubt] that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs [these wonders, these attesting miracles] that You do unless God is with you. 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the king-dom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

John 3 must be read with Romans 1-8 in order for us to understand what Jesus was really talking about! Nicodemus came to Jesus asking one question and he received an answer that was more profound that his question! This happens all the time in our conversation with Jesus! He always takes the person with a heart to search for the deep things of God into a new realm of revelation so that we might be empowered!

What has the question that God must be with Jesus because of the miracles he did linked with being Born again and the Kingdom of God! The truth is – Everything! Nicodemus came to a conclusion based on his observation and Jesus took him to the realm of the supernatural and how he could enter that wonderful realm! Indirectly, Jesus is saying that yes, God was with him and told him how God could be with anyone who so desire too. But there must be a Born Again process!

This brings us to the key question in John 3? What does it mean to be born again! Are you born again? Can you see the Kingdom of God with your spiritual eyes? When you can see it, you can have it in the Kingdom of God! Ponder over what will be preached today as it determines your very destiny! Amen.
