The Greatest Revelation of all Time!

Luke 2:8 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. 10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon[d] his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Gen 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

When Albert Einstein had a revelation that light is constant and therefore distance and time is relative, he might have understood it from Genesis 1 that God created light first resulting in the concept of day and night! In fact, the reading of Genesis 1 will show us day and night was a result of the creation of light!

Today, everyone has accepted this truth that the speed of light is an absolute constant and time and distance is relative! When Einstein postulated and published the equation E=MC2, there was an uproar in the scientific community because there was no apparent scientific basis for it. When questioned, he replied “check it out and you will know it is true!” Now this is not what you will expect from a scientist but twenty years later when technology was advanced enough to prove it, Einstein was affirmed as the most brilliant scientist. This is so interesting because it began with a revelation and not a rigorous derivation from first principles!

In the same vein, God is light and love and when we begin to receive this revelation, we will realise how amazingly true it is! Of course we have the additional evidence that Jesus Christ died for us as a powerful indication of light and darkness and His love for us. This Christmas, may God reveal who He really is to you that you might experience the truth and walk in the freedom of His light and love! Amen.
