The Father Heart of God!

Listen to this sermon

The Year of the Kingdom
Revealing Keys; Unleashing Heaven!
The Father Heart of God!

Gen 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Matt 6:8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Is 49:15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Mother’s Day! What an opportunity for us to specially honor all our mothers today even though mothers deserve our honor all year round. Whenever we think of our mothers, there is such a warm feeling in our hearts because we feel love, sacrificial love through the wonderful acts of our mothers toward us. I always think of my own mother as the one in the family who can hold the family together binding the children together with the chords of love. Without the persistent endurance of mothers, many would have grown up without the warmth of a family.
When we think of God, we often think of Him as our Father! This is perfectly right as the bible refers to God as Father twenty times in the Old Testament and two hundred sixty five times in the New Testament. When Jesus was asked by the disciples to teach them how to pray, he told them to address God as “our father in heaven”.
The question is: Does God our Father cares for us like the way our earthly mothers do? Pay close attention to this sermon today for you will discover something that will surprise you – a pleasant one I promise! Amen.
