Proclamation, Prophetic and Presence Evangelism!

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

Acts 5:12 Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico. 13 None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. 14 And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them. 16 The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

In these two passages, we can see how the New Testament Church was so powerful in evangelism. Despite the opposition and persecution, they continued to pray for boldness to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom. They have established a powerful prayer altar to invoke the presence of God to come and that resulted in the shaking of the place where they prayed!

They prayed and prophesied that God will stretch forth His hands to heal and signs and wonders will be performed through the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and that happened.

The presence of God was so tangibly experienced that people would place the sick on the pavement so that the shadow of the Apostle Peter could fall on them and they were healed. It is not as if the shadow of Peter had power but that the presence of God carried by these apostles was so powerful and tangible that people in close enough proximity indicated by the shadow were healed.

A powerful altar was established as they prayed fervently in the midst of persecution and that resulted in the powerful proclamation of His word, the prophetic decree of His actions and the manifested presence of His glory. Let us establish such prayer altars all over this nation and see a breakout of His presence in Thailand. Amen.
