Developing a Kingdom Paradigm for Revival!
Psalm 85:4 Restore us, O God of our salvation,
And cause Your anger toward us to cease. 5 Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all genera-tions?
6 Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?
Psalm 85:9 Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,
That glory may dwell in our land. 10 Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. 11 Truth shall spring out of the earth,And righteousness shall look down from heaven. 12 Yes, the Lord will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase.13 Righteousness will go before Him,
And shall make His footsteps our pathway.
Is it possible that the Lord will keep the harvest from a church that has does not have a Kingdom Foundation? This is a thought provoking question! He is the Lord of the harvest and we are supposed to pray to Him to send workers into the harvest field. What must we establish in order to reap this harvest and de-velop Kingdom disciples and leaders?
First of all, we need to have a revelation of our Kingdom Iden-tity! Before Jesus did one miracle, the heavens tore open and the Father affirmed and declared definitively the identity of Jesus in the Kingdom of God! He was the beloved son of the Father who is well pleased with him. Even though Jesus had emptied himself of all the glory and power as the eternal son, the Holy Spirit in and on Jesus was the continuing affirmation of who he is in the Kingdom and in relationship with his Father.
Jesus ministered from his definitive Kingdom Identity! Be-cause of this, He could lay a rock solid Kingdom foundation for the disciples and the church. When Peter declared through revelation that Jesus was the Christ, the son of the living God, Jesus responded by saying that upon this rock of revelation of who He is, He will build the church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. We must re-establish the church on a firm foundation in order for us to reap this amazing harvest in the coming days and transform them into Kingdom disciples who will transform families, societies and nations. Amen.
