The Year of Rest: Advancing the Kingdom!
Towers of Pride – Humbled?

Gen 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth

2 Chron 6:40 Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

2 Chron 7:12 And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chron 7:19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; 20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

Isaiah 9:9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

From the days of Noah, men on earth have always be fascinated with the building of towers and the very first one epitomized this spirit of rebellion and defiance of God. The tower of Babel was attributed to Nimrod who became the most powerful king on earth. Even though he was the great grandson of Noah, he walked in wicked ways and rebellion against God. The building of the tower was their attempt on demonstrating their rebellion and independence of God. But God brought them down and scattered them.

Since the days of Nimrod, we have seen the this continuance of the demonstration of man’s pride and this has escalated in the last 150 years beginning with the tallest building in the world built on American soil in 1870. Interestingly, the building of towers is also coinciding with a nation being exalted. The question is: How about the collapsing of those towers? Is God speaking clearly through such collapses and the building of even taller towers surpassing the previous ones.

You will find the mystery of shemitah and the towers meeting together in a very interestingly prophetic manner and it will be important for us to take heed of what is happening in the world. We are in for a great shift happening in this shemitah year and those who are ready for this shift will be greatly blessed. Listen closely to this sermon so that you can shift accordingly. Amen.
