The Power of the Father’s Blessing!
1 Chronicles 29:10 Therefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Hebrew 11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.
The Third Reformation is about the Revelation of the Father Heart and His Transforming Love! Throughout the bible, God wants to be referred to as Father because He is interested in a family. That is why He called Abram and renamed him Abraham which means the father of nations. God wants His family to be blessed and so we see Abraham having received the blessing from God the Father releasing the blessing to Isaac and Isaac releasing the blessing to Jacob and from Jacob to all the twelve sons! The blessing of the father is vitally important to the well being of the sons and to their fulfillment of their God-ordained destiny.
Research has shown that the majority of boys running foul of the law possess one common trait – the lack of a father! On this Father’s day, we want to highlight the importance of the father’s blessing and how we can release it! We can release the father’s blessing to our spiritual children that they will obtain their inheritance and fulfill their destiny!
