From Thailand to the Nations!

Psalm 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The job of the Son is to ask and that of the Father to give! This summarizes the core message in Psalm 2:8! As the head of the church, our Lord Jesus Christ has asked the Father for the nations as an inheritance when He commissioned His disciple(us) to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations!

For a long time in the church, the emphasis has been the task of completing the Great Commission but without an emphasis on possessing the nations as an inheritance as sons and therefore co-heirs with Jesus! When we can strike the balance between our Faith in action and works with receiving and inheriting from our Father with Jesus, the picture of world-evangelization will change significantly!

Our Father is shaping us as sons like Jesus in order for us to inherit all that He has prepared and ordained for us! It is a privilege and not an obligation. It is a joy and not a burden! This is the real essence of being yoked with Jesus and receiving the Kingdom that we might enter it fully and thereby manifesting it powerfully. Amen.
