The Year of Rest: Advancing the Kingdom!
What are you reading and hearing today?
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand
If you have been reading the bible and watching the news around the world today, you will know that we are living in the end of the end times. Just looking at what is happening in Israel would tell us that the developments there are happening in fulfillment of the Word of God. There is a surge in the number of Messianic-Jewish congregations sprouting all over the world and in particular in the land of Israel.
For a long time, God has been speaking with me about the Book of Revelation! Now, I sense that God is really on my case to preach it to inform and prepare an entire generation for what is to come. Rev 1:3 says that those who read and hear the words of this prophecy in Revelation will be blessed! Someone even prophesied that I should be doing this. While we know that every time we read the word and hear it preached, we are blessed, this verse seemed to emphasize that there is a special blessing for those who will particularly read and hear the words of this prophecy in the Book of Revelation.
So this is what we are going to do! From April 26 after I have come back from a trip to Turkey and Cairo, we will begin the series of preaching on Revelation and the End Times. I will like to you begin reading Revelation now so that you can benefit maximally from this preaching. At the same time, prepare to invite your friends to come for they will be richly blessed – especially pre-believers. Amen.
